The Saber Tooth Tiger
This picture is the bones of a Saber tooth tiger.
Saber Tooth Tigers lived many , many years back when the earth was trapped in the Ice age. Smilodons are a type of siber tooth tigers. Smilodons were the biggest of the other kinds of saber tooth tigers. Saber tooth tigers were very fierce animals at the time. They were at about the size of an African lion. Some saber tooth tigers grew up to 15 feet in length.
Saber tooth tigers probably hunted Mammoths, antelopes, Deer, and buffalos. 
Their mouths can stretch to 11 inches.They were probably built more for stabbing than slashing.

There were lots of types of saber toothed cats(the politically correct version)and not all of them lived in the ice age.put in where they lived, what they ate...
