Daboia by Timc

The Daboia(aka russell's viper) is found in through out parts of Asia like India,southern China, and Taiwan. Daboia cause the most human fatality than any other venomous snakes in the world because the Daboia lives near where humans live. The Daboias is harmless to humans if the humans does not disturb it. The Daboia can grow to 5 feet, but Daboia's average length is about 4 feet. Their head is triangular shaped and flat. Daboia are usually tanor brown colored and has brown rings around the body. Reptiles are cold-blooded, so their body temperature changes. Daboias are nocturnal but cooler weather make the snake more active during the day. Adult Daboias are reported to be slow and "lazy" but when angered, it will become extremely aggressive and will bite. Juvenile Daboias are more active and will bite immediately even after the smallest provocation. Daboias eats small mammals and lizards and usually lives in grassy areas not in forests. Juveniles are known to be cannibalistic. Daboia's litter are usually about 20 to 40 babies. Daboia's rarely have only 1 baby. The most litter a Daboia had is 65 babies.
