Carolus Linnaeus was born on may 23rd, 1707 in Rashult Smaland, Sweden. Carolus died Janurary 10th, 1778 in the cathedral of Upsalla,Sweden when he was at the age of 71 years old. His death was unspecified and his race was white and sweedish and his occupations was being a botanist and a explorer and his nationality was Sweden. Carolus Linnaeus was also called Carl Von Linn'e. His wife's name was Sara Moraea and he was married to her in the year 1739, His father was named Nils Ingermarrson Linnaeus, and in the year 1743 Elisabeth Christina also called Lisa Stina has been borned. In 1748 Linnaeus's father dies, In 1754 his son Johannes is born but dies in 1757, Linnaeus's daughter is born. In the year 1774 Carl Linnaeus suffers a brain haemorrhage and is partly paralyzed. A few years later linnaeus gets another brain haemorrhage in 1776-1777.

Whenever Carolus was cranky his mom and dad would give him a flower to calm him and that really worked. Carolus was christened when he was older. When he was young he was sensed that flowers were more beautiful and diverse. Soon on Carolus became very fascinated in flowers. He had named over 11,000 species using binomial nomenclature. Linnaeus is also called the Father Of Taxonomy. In 1727 Linnaeus starts to study medicine at Lund University. In 1732 Linnaeus takes the journey to Lapland from May 12th - October 10th. The year of 1733 Carolus's mother dies, and takes an interest in rocks and minerals and writes a textbook about this subject. 1741 there son is born and they call him Carl, in the same year he gets a professorship at the university of Uppsala, Linnaeus moves to the professor's residence in the University of botanic garden, that is now called the Linnaeus garden. In 1761 he changed his name from Linnaeus to Von Linn'e.

Carolus Linnaeus had created the classification hierarchy he had also created binomial nomenclature. In 1735 Carolus had his book published and the Linnaeus classification hierarchy was accepted in the early 19th century. Linnaeus's published book is called Systema Naturae another book he wrote was called Flora Laponica and it was wrote in Amsterdam of 1737. Soon when Linnaeus returned back to the Netherlands he wrote a book about him being a botanist called Genera Plantarum. Linnaeus's system uses 2 categories called genus and species to designate each species. For example Homo is our genus and sapiens is our species.

Eurpoean and American biology is primarily of Taxonomy or classification of organisms in different categories based on the physical characteristics. The classification hierarchy means Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species. For example The cheetah's classification hierarchy is, kingdom-animalia, phylum-chordata, class-mammals, order-carnivora, family-felidae, genus-panthera, species- panthera pardus. My way of remembering all the letters in the acronym is Dont! Kyle, Pete, Carl, Open, Foods, Goods, Snacks.
