Proteins 

 

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PROTEINS? well if u dont know anything about them you can go ask your friend. Im just kidding! Ill help you out. Protiens are important for our body and many other things.You probably know that you have to eat proteins.many foods cotain protiens like beef, poultry, fish, eggs, nuts, seeds, and black beans. Proteins help built up the tissue in your body our muscles, organs, and our immune system are mostly made up of protiens.

                                                        why do we need proteins?

                                                                                   

                    our body uses the proteins we eat to make a lot of specialized protein molecules that have their own specific jobs. some other proteins are used to built cardiac muscles like the heart. proteins help you move your legs move your lungs, and they can protect you from a disease.

 

 

 

                                                  different kinds of proteins.

 

                         Proteins from animals like meat and milk are called complete because they contain all 9 of the amino acids. a lot of vegetable proteins are considered incomplete because they have one or more less amino acids. you can't get all the amino acids you need from just peanuts alone, but if you have peanut butter on whole grain bread you have enough amino acids. you don't have to eat all the amino acids you need in every meal but as long as you have a variety of proteins every day your body will get what it needs.

                                                               How much proteins do you need?

 

      you can figure how much proteins you need if you know how much you weigh for every pound, every kid needs 0.5 grams the more you weigh the more proteins you need you can find it by dividing your weight by two. For example a 100 pound kid would need 25 grams of proteins
