MUSHROOMS!!!!

(this page was inspired by the badger song. just look it up on youtube and you will understand.)

there are over 180(thats alot of mushrooms!!) different species of mushrooms. everyone of those mushrooms is a different color, shape, or size.  mushrooms are a fleashy, firm, kind of fungus. some mushrooms may be confused with jelly fung(weird blob thing)i, a close relative. the way to tell the difference between these two is easy, just look at the shape. jelly fungi looks like a blob, where as mushrooms have a stem and a top which looks much like an umbrella.  mushrooms can also grow in various places. most are found on the ground but some can grow on trees.

if you were wondering,this is what jelly fungi looks like(bleh)

although it seems odd, mushrooms can reproduce asexualy or sexualy. a part of the fungi may break off and grow into a mushroom or spores from the  cap may be carried by the wind which scatters the spores to make new fungi.
