                                  Kittens!

                                          (a.k.a. Felis Catus)

Kittens come in all different breeds. One breed that is very different from other breeds is a breed that's called Manx. Manx are cat's that do not have tails. It's not because their tails were cut off, it's the kind of breed they are. I myself have two Manx breed cats and their are nothing different or wrong with them! They are still very very cute! 2 out of 3 cats have tails. Have you ever wondered why kittens don't open there eyes after birth? Well, when kittens are born, they are born with a poorly developed retina and are not able to open their eyes and see until they are ten weeks old. Have you also wondered why most kittens die after birth? It is because the kittens are fed poorly and don't have enough care and supervision. Then, the fatal result is death. When a kitten is born, the mother has to take very, very good care of it because the kitten cannot control it's body temperature, and it's need for the bathroom. All needs by the kittens are done by the mother. Or the kitten is helped by the mother. If you are planning to purchase a kitten as a pet, it must be at least 10 weeks old, otherwise, if the cat is younger than 10 weeks, it is illegal to purchase the kitten. The kittens must drink the mother's milk for a certain amount of time to become strong, healthy, and big. The mother's milk is specially made inside her body and is not purchasable to feed your illegal kitten. The mother's milk has antibodies that transfer into the kittens body and makes them healthy with the things they need for their survival. Kittens are genetically similiar to tiger, lions, leopards, cheetahs, etc. The cats are smaller but the same!

good page but mabye you could add some more information about other cats or even give the number of breeds. And i think you should give the definition of the word retind because I don't know what that means!

Lots of ideas and facts thrown up on this page. You could make your page much better by organizing your ideas into paragraphs like the stoplight paragraphs.

Very nice! However, there are more breeds of cats without tails, like the Japanese Bob, I think.
