                               GREAT WHITE SHARKS

I got this picture from here

There are many kinds of sharks but I picked the great white shark because I thought they were the interesting kinds of sharks.  Great white sharks lives in temperatures from the ocean that range from 54-75 degrees F.  The scientific name for great white sharks is Carcharodon  carcharias.  Great white sharks like any other shark flee when they smell shark blood.  They are really sensitive to electrical field emitted by the movement of living creatures.  There are lots of sharks in these places: the southern coast of Australia, California, South Africa, and Mexico.  The great white shark is between 12-16 feet long, and can grow up to 19-21 feet.  Great white sharks have around 3,000 teeth set in seven rows.  Great White Sharks can easily kill because their teeth are perfectly mede for killing.  If they lost a tooth  when fighting, a new tooth willgrow fast to replace the old tooth.  Great white sharks have gray upper bodies to blend in with rocky coastal sea floor.  Great white sharks eat salmon, hake, halibut, mackerel, tunas, sea lions, harbor seals, and other sharks.  Great white shark's skeletons are not made of bone, but made of cartilage.       Sharks for some reason seems to attack surfers often.  Well that is because the sharks can't see the surfer from below the prey.  Sharks love to attack their prey from below because the prey cannot see them, so they mistakenly think they are seals.

Features of the great white's sharks appereance and how they attack.

Their scales are not smooth like fish, their scales are rough (like sandpaper).  Great white sharks usually attack below the animal they are attacking.  Once they bit the animal, they let the animal bleed to and they come later to eat the dead animal.

Good information that could be better organized to be more clear. Why is their skin rough? Where did you get your information?
