This is Kenadie Jourdin Bromley who has primordial dwarfism. Kenadie is 6 years old born on Feb. 13th, 2003 weighing at just 2 lbs and 8 ounces. Little Kenadie isn't expected to grow past 30 inches or weigh more than 8 pounds. But she is now running, talking, laughing, and just beginning to start talking.

Human Dwarfism is a condition where a human's growth is irregular and stunted. The widest most accepted defineition of dwarfism is a person whose height is no more than 4 feet 10 inches (147cm). Disproportionate dwarfism is identified by one or more parts of the body being disproportionately bigger or smaller compared to the other parts of the body.

The most common form of dwarfism (that makes up 70% of the diagnoised people) is achondroplasia which results in the patients having short limbs, increased spinal curving (scoliosis), and distortion of skull growth. The effects of dwarfism is both physically and mentally painful to the one diagnosed. Many of the patients have pain involving the joint because of the abnormal bone alignment. In hope of having the patients growth bigger, during the early years of their lives, they are given injections of Human Growth Horomones. Sadly though... the HGH injections adverse effects on cardiac mussles are bad. They make it too large or too thick to function properly. It results in death of the patients who are injected because of the failure to function properly. Children who are diagnoised are often misunderstood. Short people are thought to be academically challenged, which leads to a difficult social life. But not all are having a hard time with this diagnois. Some are very smart, even on the honor role, and also have best friends who support them through all the hard times from surgeries to bullies. Being really small, everyday tasks can be very difficult for them to perform. walking up stairs can be very tireing. The emotional stresses can be very frustrating. They always feel different and that the world was made in mind for everyone else-but them.

When shown and recognized in art, literature, and entertainment, they are shown like they are a different species apart rather than people who just have a disorder in their DNA or just normal very short people. But in Egyptian ancient art and Greek art on vases, there are pictures and paintings of them. Many stories are directed mainly at dwarfism as their story with made up tales of people who refuse to grow, people who are treated differently, etc. But many people who are diagnoised are also in movies and shows. The Chronicles of

Narnia is a famous movie and actor Warrick Davis played in that movie includeing some other well known movies like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and one of his all most famous role loved by many veiwers is in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as all of the Oompa Loompas.
