                                How you determine the gender of a dwarf hamster's sex is the male hamster has two openings on it's belly, the anus and this area further up called the male vent. But the female has two openings closer together, called the anus and the female vent. The male has a scent gland further up it's belly in the center and also might have protruding testicles. But the female has two rows of four pairs of nipples running up her sides to feed her babies.

Hamsters eat on average, about one to two tablespoons full of food per 24 hours. Everything else they put into storage. The Syrian hamsters- which are the larger ones, also called Golden Hamsters - that may eat a little more. The dwarf hamster species perhaps eat a little less.

HOW MANY BABIES CAN ONE DWARF HAMSTER HAVE?

    Well the answer to that is it will always depend on the hamster mother on how many babies she has. A little can be very small, it's about 2-3 babies. But it can also be very big of a ranging of babies from 12-16 or more. The more babies there are, the higher the rate of them will be. Luckily, the usual little ranges of dwarf hamster babies from about 4 to 6 babies.

WHEN A DWARF HAMSTER SLEEPS AND WHAT HAPPENS

Hamster is kinda NOCTURNAL which means that the dwarf hamsters sleep during the day and wake up during the night. If a hamster lies on its back when it sleeps, it means that possibly the hamster is having a nightmare and maybe frightened.
