                                                        Dog Breeds!!!          

                                         I feel that i am lucky because i get to write about one of man kinds favorite species. They have been called mans best friend for years, and i believe that that is so true!! To tell what breed you have first you have too, determine the hight and measure your dog. Next note the structure of the face and the head. Also look at the eyes, ears, and nose. See if the ears are pointed or droopy.These facial markings are different for many different dog breeds. Then feel the fur on the dog, dose it have a short or heavy coat? How dose the fur feel, is it straight or wavy? Look at the color of the dog, see if it is one color or more than one color. Next, never forget the tail, the tail can tell alot about the breed of the dog. See if the dog has a plumped or wiry tail. You can get a pretty good idea of what the dogs breed is by looking at the dogs fur and its tail. And one of the most important things of determining a dogs breed is his temperment and psychological behavior. Here are some of my favorite dog breeds!!

                                                                 German Shepherd

                     The german shepherd is a nice and very powerful creature, with a very athletic build. The coat of this dog is stright and hard. The coloring is black and tan, but also may vary. The german shepherd weighs between 60-80 pounds for females and between 75-100 pounds for males. A german shepherds life expectancy is around 12 years old. German sheperds are also known for there police and military work.

                                                                              Rottweiler

The rottweiler is a huge dog with a very muscular body. This dog is cute but has a very tough look about it. Its coat is very short and has a rough texture. The coloring of the rottweiler is also like the german shepherd, black with tan markings. The rottweiler weighs between 80-100 pounds for females and 95-135 pounds for males. Like alot of other large dog  breeds this dog will live up tp 9-10 years old. This dog gets its name from a town in germany, called Rottweil.

                                                                            Doberman Pinscher

The doberman pinscher is a sturdy, athletic, and very powerful dog. These dogs have a short, smooth coat. This dogs colorings can vary between fawn, blue, or black with rust colored markings on the head and legs. This dog weighs between 65-85 pounds for males and females. The doberman pinscher lives up to around 8-12 years old. The name Doberman came from the person who developed it, Louis Doberman.
