Not all cows are the same... some are dairy cows (which produce milk) and some are cattle, cattle is unfortunetly turned into burgers :'(

cow breeds~

Different breeds of cows have different looks. Some cows are all black all brown, some cows have brown spots, black spots, and some produce milk.

A popular kind of cow is called a "Jersey" they normally look like "brown cows" and yes, they produce milk =D They were named "Jersey " cows after an English island named "Jersey" their milk is mostly high-quality.

Another kind is Holsteins Friesians. The name came from the province of Friesian. These cows are usually spotted, black and white. They are the most common breed in Australia and their species is a couple thousand years old.

Ayreshires. These cows are from Scottland and their color changes from red to brown. This breed is not as common.

Red breeds, some of these breeds are "lllawarras" and they are from New South Wales. lllawarras have a very bright red tone, as well as other red breeds. lllawarras were recognized as an individual breed.

COW DIET~

cows are healthy and happy vegetarians :] No meat for them. They like to eat grass and hay which helps them produce milk. And they have four stomachs, which is a system called ruminant. There are obviously 4 parts to ruminant. Reticulum, Rumen, Omasum, abomasum.

OTHER STUFF ABOUT COWS!

Cows are mammals, and when they have babies the babies are called calves.
