     Cheetahs are known for their speed. Cheetahs can run up 75mph and go as far as 63 miles in a day. Cheetahs can be very aggressive, especially when they have to hunt for food. Cheetahs can eat big things such as a Gazelle, a Gnu, an Impala, or a Widebeest Calf. Cheetahs can also eat small things such as small Antelope, Birds, and Hare. Cheetahs usually eat up to six ponds a day; an adult cheetah can weigh up to a hundred and forty pounds.

     Cheetahs are known for being big cats and they are found mostly in Africa. Cheetahs were once found in Asia for a couple of years, but today there are one hundred and fifty in Iran and twelve thousand in Africa . Cheetahs are starting to get endanger little by little because of so little prey, the loss of habitat, poaching, and being shot as a livestock predator.

     Cheetah mothers spend a long time teaching their babies how to hunt when they are small live antelopes are brought back to the cubs and released so they can learn to chase and catch them. Cheetahs usually hunt during daylight, preferring early morning or early evening, but is also active on moonlit nights. Cheetahs do not roar like lions, but they purr, hiss, whine and growl. Male cheetahs usually live alone. Two or three cheetah males will usually form a group. This small group will live and hunt together for ever and usually claims a large area which may overlap several female territories
