On the Earth insects were the first organisms to rule the skies. They ruled the skies for 100 million years, but then other creatures came to take over. Then, several hundred million years ago, huge and often terrifying new life forms, Pterosaurs, or flying dinosaurs, took the skies. Around 150 million years ago they were joined by, a feathered creature. The bird was born. Many scientists are convinced that birds evolved from the dinosaurs. Some scientist believes that birds evolved from two-legged, running dinosaurs called therapies. The ancestors of all today's birds evolved between 65 and 53 million years ago, from the dinosaurs. In Kampala, Uganda, marabou storks are seen on hotels. In parts of Africa the white stork now only nests on buildings. This is an example of how birds have adaptive to humans. Birds are scientifically proved to be the coolest animal in the world by some of the most famous scientist like  Leonardo and da Vinci because they can fly  for a long time, but they don't  favor the ostrich or the penguin because they walk.

        All these birds on this page has two legs, wings, feathers and a beautiful beak. These birds are different but have same body structures. All birds lay eggs and most of them can fly . About 8,600 different species of birds are alive today. Birds are different shapes and sizes but the only thing they have in common are them flyinf and some dont even fly so some of them don't even have anything in common.
